#30DaysOfSlow - daily prompts for slow living

“We need, above all things, to slow down and get ourselves to amble through life instead of to rush through it.” Alan Watts

Introducing #30DaysOfSlow

Take some time to slow things down…

There is no better time to prioritise YOU.

This daily challenge is all about inviting you to slow down and prioritise you each day. It’s that easy. Simply a short prompt each day to encourage you to take some time for yourself and to prioritise what YOU need.

How does it work?

There are 30 days of prompts. Use them however feels right for you, here are some ideas:

  • Read them each morning and consider each prompt before you start your day

  • Use them as journal prompts to inspire daily moments of reflection

  • Use them as social media prompts and post one image and caption per day inspired by the prompts. Remember to tag @slowdowncollective and #30DaysOfSlow

The challenge is split into four phases over four weeks:
Pause | Slow | Connect | Reclaim.

Every week there is one gratitude prompt and one affirmation prompt included to encourage you to form habits with these simple but impactful exercises.

Why is the challenge 30 days?

I considered providing prompts over a seven or ten day period of time, but it didn’t feel right. I’m in this for the long game and I want you to be too. Because I’ve found that by making small, daily incremental changes it has made an overall hugely positive effect to my wellbeing. I’d love you to form some habits from the daily inspiration and ideas. To really lean into slowing down over the course of a month to see what affect on your overall wellbeing these little changes have.

I hope you enjoy these prompts and start to walk through life at a slower pace.
