Hello! I’m Helen, creator of The Slow Down Collective

I’m so delighted that you found our corner of the internet dedicated to all things slow.

When burnout, anxiety and panic attacks led to me being placed on a 12-month waiting list for talking therapy (CBT), waiting that long to feel better wasn’t an option. I needed to find ways to help me feel more like me …

So I started searching. I read lots, visited a nutritionist, explored reiki, learned about sleep, participated in a cacao ceremony, started exercising more regularly…the list goes on. And over time by slowing down, tuning in, and making incremental changes, I started to feel more ‘me’ again.

The Slow Down Collective was born out of a deep passion to help others find ways to slow down too.
